Welcome to Love God, Love People Blog!

Love God, Love People is a space where I share reflections on faith, community, and the everyday journey of following Christ. My name is Jennifer McMurray. My husband, Wes, and I have three boys in different seasons of growing up, from college to the teenage years, and I have learned so much along the way. During the COVID years, I began writing, although I have always loved journaling and sending cards filled with lots of words. Recently, after traveling to Kenya, God led me to begin writing a book titled Oh, the People You’ll Meet: Portraits of the Kingdom of God from Kenya. My prayer is that what I write will be an encouragement and point to Christ. I am learning to look for portraits of God in everyday life. Many of the blogs here are reflections on finding God through His Word, books and book clubs, travel, the journey of faith, and the beauty of community. I invite you to join me.
